相信各位早排儲糧,或者臨近糧尾,屋企都入左好多杯麵。今晚返到屋企未食飯,屋企又淨係得杯麵,一於食完杯麵做主菜,再用左個湯黎整滑嘟嘟既窮JJ杯麵茶碗蒸,滿足程度唔差過食茶記宵夜外賣架

I guess during pandemic everyone of us has stored some dried food at home. Cup noodles is of course a must-have item. In this evening I went home late and there’s only cup noodles at home. Instead of feeling sad, I actually made the meal enjoyable by eating the cup noodles as main dish and use the soup leftover for making a Japanese Cup Noodles Chawanmushi. Let’s see how I did it.

網上好多做法都係為方便所以用微波爐叮個蛋,不過我地為既係好食,所以用隔水蒸既方法,蒸出黎個蛋非常滑嘟嘟
Many recipes online teach us to make it by microwave oven. That would be convenient but for better texture, it’s best to make it by steaming. Even if we’re broke we cannot compromise the enjoyment right?

依個係北海道味噌蝦味杯麵,岩晒用黎整日式既茶碗蒸
This is in Hokkaido miso shrimp flavour which is ideal for making this Japanese Chawanmushi

第一個步驟就係食左個杯麵去
First step, eat your noodles

食完剩返個湯,一滴都唔洗倒,打隻蛋落去
Don’t waste any drop of the soup leftover. Crack an egg and pour into the soup

然後攪勻佢
Stir well

將蛋漿倒入碗,蓋上保鮮紙,大火隔水蒸10分鐘就得
Pour the mixture into a bowl. Cover it with plastic wrap and steam it on high heat for 10 mins

一定要隔水蒸,咁就可以蒸到個蛋好滑溜,睇相都feel到有幾滑
Make sure you steam the egg instead of using microwave oven. The texture will then be as silky as what you see here
