小邪惡氣炸港式西多士 Air Fried Hong Kong Style French Toast

港式西多士相信係好多人既下午茶心愛選擇,香脆蛋香外皮,軟糯又有花生醬香既中心,再加埋表面既鮮牛油同糖漿,種種滋味配搭上黎變成百吃不厭既下午茶小食。

今次用既氣炸版本,唔洗落酒炸所以煮起黎較方便,至於係咪無咁邪惡?諗多左,見到面個舊牛油都知佢咩料,間中過下口癮好喇!

Hong Kong Style French Toast is a very popular choice for afternoon tea in any tea restaurant in Hong Kong. With the crispy layer of fried egg on the outside, aromatic peanut butter in the inside, together with butter and syrup on top of the toast, all come together to form this adorable afternoon tea snack!

In our air fried version, we didn’t use oil to fry the toast so it’s very convenient to make. However is this less evil? Hmmmm maybe. But looking at the large piece of butter, we’d better make this tempting toast less often!

氣炸港式西多士

雖然用左氣炸,但依個西多士口感風味一樣係咁邪惡,而且好易整,下次都試下係屋企整啦

Although it’s made by air frying, the texture and flavour were still nice and evil. It’s also very easy to make.

氣炸港式西多士材料有厚身方包、雞蛋兩隻、鮮牛油、花生醬同煉奶

Ingredients include thick pieces of bread, 2 eggs, butter, peanut butter and condensed milk

將牛油、煉奶、花生醬塗抹係兩片方包內

Add butter, condensed milk and butter on 2 pieces of bread

夾埋兩塊方包,打好蛋,塗抹係方包表面

Put the 2 pieces of bread together, brush some whisked egg on the surface

要搽到塊包索滿蛋汁

Brush till there the bread can absorb no more

然後就可以放入氣炸鍋,其實應該要鋪塊牛油紙,咁就唔洗洗個網上d蛋漬咁麻煩

Then we can put the toast into air fryer. Actually we should have put a piece of cooking paper in the bottom then we wouldn’t stain the rack with cooked egg

180度炸佢10-15分鐘,蛋漿變得金黃鬆脆就可以了

Switch to 180 degree celsius for 10-15 mins. When the outside of the bread looks crunchy it’s ready

出爐了!放塊牛油係面,再淋上糖漿,氣炸港式西多士就完成喇!

Freshly made toast! Then we can simply put a piece of butter on top and pour some syrup to give the toast some finishing
