Both of us love eating Yoshinoya Beef Bowl but since we learnt how to make that at home, we haven’t been eating out the beef bowl at restaurant for a year already. The version we made this time is with Japanese soft-boiled egg. You will definitely empty the bowl in secs with this combination. The Yoshinoya Beef Bowl is very easy to make. Try that next time!
吉野牛肉飯 Yoshinoya Beef Bowl

醬油+牛肉+洋蔥+日本珍珠米+溫泉玉子,依個係神奇既好味組合,而且製作非常簡單,依個飯真係值得一學!

貴食材不敗煮法! 慢煮厚切西冷牛扒 Never Fail Your Pricey Sirloin Steak – Use of Sous Vide!

用既牛肉係街市買既美國肥牛,買$82/磅個款已經好味過餐廳質素,2個人食既話半磅就夠。
We used US sliced beef bought from market. The HK$82/pound level is already better than the version at restaurant. To serve 2, half a pound will be enough.

材料&醬料(二人份多汁版)
洋蔥半個切絲、肥牛半磅(解凍熔雪)、白飯、蔥花(可以無)
味醂5湯匙、萬字醬油5湯匙、糖2茶匙
Ingredients and sauce (2 servings with extra sauce)
Half a bulb of sliced onion, 0.5 pound of beef slice (unfrozen), rice, chopped scallion (optional)
5 tbsp of mirin, 5 tbsp of kikkoman shoyu, 2 tsp of sugar

第一步,落洋蔥炒約半分鐘至軟身
First step, stir fry onion for 30 secs or until it is softened

第二步,落醬料煮滾,試味,濃淡咸甜跟自己口味再調較
Second step, add the sauce. Test the taste and adjust the seasoning

最後,落肥牛煮三分鐘,蓋埋上白飯度就搞掂喇!

Lastly, add the beef and let it boil for 3 mins. Then cover the rice with the cooked beef. Done!

I just made this today!!!! It’s so good and easy to follow 😍 I never know it’s so easy to make the beed bowl. But I’m so sad, I should have follow the same cut for beef 😭 The cheap beef I bought was rather tough with thick tendon.
