In this article we are talking about how to searing beef steak after work in 30 mins. Normally we like to use more techniques for making our steak (e.g. sous vide). However, after getting off work we just want to keep things simple. We bought our steak at supermarket, seared it directly and served with Cesar salad. We will share how to use our enamelled cast iron pan to sear a medium beef steak.

Having a crispy chunk of sirloin and serving it with salad is probably one of the best ways to treat ourselves after a long day of work
Nice and pink
Once arriving home, marinate the steak with salt and pepper for 10 mins. During this time, get changed and refill cat food
Heat the cast iron frying pan for 30 secs, pour oil and burn until smoke is released then switch off fire
Steak in, turn on low heat, let it sear for 2 mins
Flip over, sear 2 more mins. Now the steak is caramelized and looks crispy
Add 1 tbsp of butter. Scoop the melted butter and pour onto the steak. Use 1 min for this process
Stove off. Let the remaining heat of the pan to soften the steak tissue. Everything is finished in 30 mins!
